The Effutu Municipal Assembly on Monday, October 9, 2023 held its entry conference for the District Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT) to commence the assessment of the Assembly in three core areas including compliance indicators, Service delivery and performance indicators for the 2022 administrative year.At an entry conference at the Effutu Municipal Assembly, the leader of GJ Morgans Consultancy, the firm undertaking the assessment exercise, Dr. Kwabena Boadu- Yeboah, urged the staff to be ready to provide the necessary documentation as well as evidence of work done when called upon to enable them complete the exercise within the stipulated time.He said that for the Assembly to score higher marks to enable them go through the process successfully to earn a huge quantum of money for its development, there was the need to fulfil the requirements for all the three indicators set out for the exercise.Dr. Boadu-Yeboah noted that the Effutu Municipal was the only Assembly from the list of Assemblies in their operational zone whose Presiding Member was present to take part the entry conference which is a requirement and lauded the leadership of the Assembly for the organization to include the Presiding Member to be present at the meeting. The Municipal Chief Executive for the Effutu Municipal Assembly, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim, noted that assessments of such nature were good for the productivity of the Assemblies as they put officers to check to pay attention to details to bring about development.He indicated the Effutu Municipal Assembly’s readiness to be assessed and assured the team of the cooperation needed for a successful exercise.
