Effutu Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim has congratulated candidates who sat for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the Effutu Municipality for successfully completing their exams.
The 1840 candidates who sat for the exams in the Effutu Municipality pulled through successfully on Friday, August 11, 2023, amidst excitement and jubilation for completing the first phase of their educational journey.
Addressing the graduands after the exams on Friday, Hon Zubairu Kassim commended them for painstakingly going through three years of Junior High School to prepare adequately for the exams as well as playing to the rules and instructions governing the exams to avoid incidents of examination malpractices.
He admonished the graduands to be of good behaviour and obedient to their guardians as they await the outcome of the exams in anticipation that they will excel to pave way for them to obtain admission into their preferred senior high schools.
He applauded the exceptional leadership traits exhibited by the Member of Parliament, Hon. Alexander Afenyo- Markin for providing meals and transport for the students throughout the examination period with mathematical sets and pad for the female students.
Hon. Zubairu Kassim lauded the Municipal Education Directorate for working tirelessly to promote education in the Municipality.
He reiterated the Assembly’s resolve at pursuing numerous interventions to enhance teaching and learning at the Basic Level in the Effutu Municipality.
