The Municipal Chief Executive for the Effutu Municipal Assembly, Rev. Atta Mensah Minister on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 met with staff of the Decentralized Departments and Agencies under the Assembly to discuss strategies for achieving the vision of the Government in the Municipality.The maiden meeting between the Effutu Mayor and staff of the Assembly signaled the beginning of a tenure focused on transparency, collaboration and coordination to drive the development of the area through enhanced decentralization, and environmental sanitation. His vision sets a strong foundation for advancing local governance and driving Effutu’s development. The event underscored the MCE’s commitment to fostering teamwork and collaboration in achieving the Assembly’s mandate as envisioned by His Excellency, John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana. Addressing the staff, the Effutu MCE who secured a 100% endorsement by Assembly Members on Thursday, June 5, 2025 emphasized that success is a collective effort, requiring the active input and commitment of all personnel. He reaffirmed his open-door policy, encouraging staff members to contribute ideas, observations, and innovations that would propel the Assembly to greater heights.He highlighted the key focus areas for his administration by underscoring the importance of deepening decentralization and local governance, ensuring that local governance structures are empowered to respond effectively to the needs of citizens.Hon. Atta Mensah seized the platform to articulate his vision for the Effutu Municipality and his approach to the role he has assumed. “This Assembly plays a pivotal role in our Municipality’s development, and I am fully committed to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to deliver on our mandate,” he said.The Effutu MCE noted that the meeting was an opportunity to familiarize himself with his staff and key stakeholders while sharing the government’s goals for the Municipality and Ghana as a whole.Hon. Rev. Atta Mensah, assured all staff of his commitment to prioritize their welfare and fostering an environment of inclusivity and engagement, reverberating a distinctive approach to leadership and called for the unwavering support of all staff in driving the Assembly to its desired objectives. He further urged all employees to demonstrate diligence, punctuality, and dedication to their respective duties.The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Alhassan Abdulai Issifu on behalf of the staff of the Assembly welcomed the MCE’s vision with enthusiasm, pledging their support to help implement his agenda.He congratulated all staff for the opportunity to engage with the new MCE and urged them to take to heart the discussions from the meeting. He encouraged them to align with the new administration’s vision and give their best in service.Staff of the Assembly took turns to laud the MCE’s clear articulation of priorities coupled with his proactive approach to addressing the challenges facing the Municipality.
