St. Paul’s Methodist Preparatory and Junior High School in the Effutu Municipality of the Central Region has on Friday, September 27, 2024 commemorated its 25th anniversary with a spectacular choreographic display by the pupils of the school.The school, which opened in September 1999 with a small number of eight (8), now has over 700 students and has consistently excelled in the Basic Education Certificate Examination since its inception.The event was under the theme “25 Years of Transforming Lives Through Quality Education, Our Story, Our Achievement, Our Future”.Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim, the Effutu Municipal Chief Executive, who was the Guest of Honour commended the school authorities for their dedication to delivering quality education services.He noted that the 25 years of the school’s journey had been marked by dedication, innovation and unwavering commitment to the future generation in the Effutu Municipality and its adjoining communities.According to him, the school’s contribution to the general development of the future generation over the last 25 years could be viewed as a tapestry woven with countless stories of growth, resilience and achievement with the goal of unlocking potentials and creating opportunities.Hon. Zubairu Kassim intimated that, the reflection on the success story in the past 25years should be tide to a contemplation of a positive future targeting a next chapter of St. Paul’s School full of potentials and promises in an ever-evolving world with commitment to staying at the forefront of educational innovation.Hon. Zubairu Kassim charged the school authorities to focus on developing a global mindset among students to position them to become resourceful leaders in future. He said that, as today’s youth represent the next generation of leaders and changemakers, equipping them with the skills to navigate an interconnected world was imperative.The Founder of the school, Rt. Rev. Jerrimiah Morrison stated that the school had blossomed from a humble beginning to a vibrant one, with tremendous success over the past years.Expressing gratitude to all persons whose contributions aided the institution’s success story throughout its 25years of existence, Rt. Rev Jerrimiah Morrison noted that the school’s journey had been fueled by a collaborative spirit of all stakeholders of education in the Municipality.
