The Municipal Planning Coordinating Unit (MPCU) of the Effutu Municipal Assembly held a meeting at the Municipal Assembly Conference Hall on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.
The meeting brought together heads of Units and Decentralized Departments as well as Government Agencies within the Municipality to discuss the 2024 Annual Action Plan of the Assembly and present the progress of implementation of the projects and programs across all the sectors of the Municipality.
Addressing the meeting, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Abdulai Alhasan Issifu urged for the cooperation and coordination of all officers of the various Units, Departments and Agencies in the realization of the stated activities in the 2024 Action Plan.
He charged all the Heads and Staff of the Assembly to “put their shoulders to the wheel” to mobilize resources to address the challenges in the Effutu Municipality.
According to him, the Assembly was in the process of constituting a task -force to work day and night to improve the revenue mobilization drive of the Assembly to enable it operationalize its development agenda for the 2024 administrative year.
Mr. Alhasan Issifu commended participants at the meeting for the collaboration and commitment towards the discussion of issues on the order paper.
