The Effutu Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim has expressed satisfaction with the commitment of the various sub-committees to serving the interests of the residents of Effutu in the realization of the developmental goals of the area.Hon. Zubairu Kassim made this known at the first quarter Executive Committee (EXECO) meeting held at the EMA Conference Hall on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. The meeting provided a platform for committee members to review and deliberate on reports submitted by the various sub-committees of the Assembly including the Justice and Security, Social Services, Development Planning, Agric, Finance and Administration, Health and Sanitation, and Works sub-committees of the Assembly.The Effutu MCE highlighted the importance of balancing short-term actions with long-term goals for the sustainable development of the Municipality and emphasized the need for effective coordination between departments to achieve the Assembly’s objectives.He urged the committees to continue focusing on innovative solutions, especially in areas such as waste management, environmental sustainability, and revenue mobilization, among others. Hon. Zubairu Kassim charged all relevant stakeholders of the Assembly to prioritize engaging with the public and throughout the Assembly’s planning and implementation processes, adding that transparent and inclusive decision-making was crucial for building trust and fostering a sense of ownership among the city’s residents.The Municipal Chief Executive announced to members of EXECO that the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Banini Dzorgbenyui Kwadzo had been posted to the Ashiaman Municipal Assembly and had been replaced with Mr. Abdulai Alhasan Issifu from the Ablekuma Central Municipal Assembly.
