The Effutu Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 joined the chiefs and people of the Effutu Traditional Area for the 2024 Aboakyir Health Walk geared towards living healthy and energizing the base for the hunting expedition of the Aboakyir Festival.The walk led by the Paramount Chief of the Effutu Traditional Area, Nenyi Ghartey VII brought together chiefs and residents of Winneba as part of the activities to mark the 2024 Aboakyir Festival.Hon. Zubairu Kassim asserted that for the people to live healthy lifestyles, there was the need to engage in exercises of such nature and to also energize the base to increase the euphoria around the Aboakyir Festival.He further stated that there was the need to prepare adequately for the great catch needed to climax the celebration and emphasized the need for unity among the Effutu people to help place Effutu’s culture and heritage on the international map to bring about development to its people.
