EMA ENDS DISTRICT PERFORMANCE TEST -ASSESSMENT WITH AN EXIT CONFERENCE

A day’s test assessment of the Effutu Municipal Assembly on the annual District Performance
Assessment Tool (DPAT) was held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, to allow for the assessment of the
performance of the Assembly for the 2022 administrative year.
Staff of the Assembly worked into the night to go through a vigorous and comprehensive
assessment with updated indicators which demanded of them to up their game to meet the
minimum requirements and the average scores for the test assessment.
The exercise was structured into three main sections namely, Compliance Indicators, Service
Delivery and Performance and allowed for the officials from the Office of the Head of Local
Government Service (OHLGS) and the Central Regional Coordinating Council to go through
files from the various Departments under the Assembly to cross check and validate work done
during the period under review.
An exit conference to announce the Assembly’s performance for the period was held at the
Assembly’s Conference Room at 9:30pm with the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Banini
Dzorbenyui Kwadwo as well as Heads of Departments/Units and staff of the Assembly in
attendance.

The Assessment team read the thematic areas and the respective performance of the Assembly
indicating areas where the Assembly had lost some marks as a result of some infractions.
The team shared some advice to the Assembly on good records keeping and minutes writing
among others in the performance of its mandate.
The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Banini Dzorgbenyui Kwadwo, thanked the team on
behalf of the Municipal Chief Executive for their professional conduct throughout the process
and candor in seeking clarity to issues.
He was particularly grateful to the staff of the Assembly for putting up a sterling display of
selflessness to aid the Assembly to successfully go through the process.
