The Effutu Municipal Assembly has held its first staff durbar for the 2023 administrative year on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 with a call on staff to exhibit the highest form of professionalism and diligence to duty to push the development of the Municipality forward.
At the meeting the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Francis Asiedu announced his reposting to the Central Regional Coordinating Council with an introduction of Mr. Banini Kwadzo as the new Municipal Coordinating Director. It also allowed for a discussion on staff welfare issues as well as sensitization on the Right to Information (RTI) Law by the Welfare Committee of the Assembly and the Information Services Department respectively.
Making the clarion call to the staff, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim, advised the against lateness and truancy towards the work in the Municipality, a situation he said is inimical to the development of the Assembly.
He urged the staff of the Assembly to work hard with team spirit and togetherness to effectively implement the policies and programmes of the government of the day to benefit the people of Effutu.
Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim seized the opportunity to lead the staff to express the gratitude of the people of Effutu Municipality to the out-going Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Francis Asiedu, for his selfless service during his tenure as Municipal Coordinating Director and wished him well in his future endeavors.
The New Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Banini Kwadzo, in a brief remark, called for the cooperation of the staff in the quest to realizing the development agenda of the Effutu Municipality.
