The Municipal Chief Executive for the Effutu Municipality, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim, has assured the people of Effutu that ongoing development projects within the Municipality would be successfully completed to impact on the lives of the residents in the Effutu Municipality.
He said the completion of the projects would be realized to convince persons who doubted the Government’s commitment at delivering them. He stated that anyone with the initial notion that the projects would b be a mirage and were to hoodwink the residents to vote for the Government must begin to revise their notes.
Hon. Zubairu Kassim made this known after inspecting some ongoing projects within the municipality in the company of the Municipal Planning Officer, Mr. Abubakar Saddique Adam and the Municipal Information Officer, Mr. Charles Baah Aboagye on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
The projects inspected included the Construction of an Astro Turf at Nsuekyir (90% completed), the construction of a Special School at Unipra South C (90% Completed) in Winneba and the Construction of a multi- million dollar Landing Beach Site at Winneba (98% completed).
The tour was to assess the state of work and also to reassure the people that the project would be completed for their benefits.
Hon. Zubairu Kassim appealed to Effutu residents to keep faith in the Government and support it to deliver on its promises with an assurance that the Municipality through the able leadership of its Member of Parliament, Hon. Alexander Afenyo- Markin would continue to receive its fair share of the national development.
He hinted of lots of projects on the drawing board for the municipality and that at the right time, those projects would be implemented.
The Effutu MCE expressed satisfaction at the pace of work done so far and was hopeful that the contractors would deliver the projects on schedule.
