A Site Inspection of the Effutu Municipal Assembly Office Complex on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 revealed that 80% of the roofing of the office Complex is complete.
Work on the plastering of the interior and windows of the project were also progressing steadily with the construction firm, Construction Ambassadors working feverishly to complete the project on schedule.
The Observation was made when the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim, lead the consultant for the project, Engineer Frederick Gyan- Botwe and his team on a site inspection of the project after which a site meeting was held to receive the progress report of the construction as well as asses the progress of work for recommendations to be made.
Engineer Frederick Gyan-Botwe, cautioned the tractor against delivering a project of sub- standard quality which may compel his outfit with no choice than recalling them to return to fix detected faults upon completion.
He however, expressed satisfaction with the progress of work executed by Construction Ambassadors and was optimistic that quality work will be delivered on schedule to realize the purpose of its execution.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Zubairu Kassim, charged the Contractor to execute the project using the specification provided in the contract agreement with Government.
He did not mince words in assuring of the Assembly’s support in the execution of the project which will help reduce the office accommodation challenges faced in the Municipality.
With the team for the site inspection and meeting were the site manager, Mr. Kwabena Asiedu, the Municipal Works Engineer, Mr. Emmanuel Yeboah and the Municipal Information Officer, Mr. Charles Baah Aboagye.
