Engineers from Fedems Consortium and Construction Ambassadors Limited on Monday, November 28, 2022 embarked on a site inspection of the Effutu Municipal Assembly Office Complex project being executed by the Common Fund Secretariat on behalf of the Government of Ghana to help reduce office accommodation challenges faced by staff of the Decentralized Departments in the Effutu Municipal Assembly.
The team led by Engineer Frederick Gyan- Botwe was met by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim and later led to inspect the project which they claimed was critical to ensuring that quality and safety procedures are followed correctly from the start of the construction.
While making observations and recommendations for some changes and add-ons to give the project a new look upon completion, Mr Frederick Gyan-Botwe said regular site visits and supervision would be conducted to make sure that the project is not stacked while making sure that value for the investments were achieved.
He asked for the support and cooperation of the management and staff of the Assembly and promised to monitor to ensure the project is completed on schedule.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim, thanked the team for the visit noting that such inspections were necessary to add value to project delivery.
He said that the Assembly prioritizes the project and will continuously interact with workers at the project site as well as encouraged them to do a good job to get the project ready on schedule.
Hon. Zubairu Kassim in the company of the Municipal Works Engineer, Mr. Emmanuel Yeboah and the Resident Engineer of the Project, Mr. Kwabena Asiedu whiles taking the team round implored on the workers to relay all their grievances to the Assembly for a peaceful co-existence aimed at realizing a quality execution of the project.
