The 2021 National Best Teacher and a tutor of the Winneba Secondary School (WINNESEC), Mr. Ebenezer Kojo Otoo has made Ghana proud with another international award in the Global Education Supplies and Solutions( GESS) Education Awards 2022 held in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The award scheme which was organized by UAE’s Ministry of Education and the Global Education Supplies and Solutions (GESS) with about 53 participating countries saw the WINNESEC Tutor and a native of Winneba clinch the ultimate award dubbed the “Life Time Achievement Award”.
Mr. Ebenezer Kojo Otoo who was adjudged with the ultimate award for his outstanding contribution and achievement in the educational sector in Ghana paid a courtesy call on the Municipal Chief Executive for the Effutu Municipal Assembly on Monday, November 21, 2022 to present his award to him. With him to present the award to the MCE were the Municipal Director of Education, Madam Mabel Judith Micah and other senior members of the Directorate of Education in the Effutu Municipality.
Receiving the delegation in his office, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim, congratulated Mr. Otoo for the continuous honors chalked in recent times.
He said that by winning the international award the names of Ghana and Effutu have been placed on the international ladder as a nation worth investing in.
Hon. Zubairu Kassim charged other teachers to emulate the exemplary qualities exhibited by Mr. Otoo to continue to project the Municipality positively to the rest of the world.
