The Effutu Municipal Assembly has on Friday September9, 2022 initiated the opening up of a 2 kilometer road at Ateitu Goshen City, a community within the Winneba township.
The project geared at maintaining the road network of the area as well as making the road accessible to the residents was an initiative of the community members with the support of the Effutu Municipal Assembly.
The Effutu Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu in the company of the Presiding Member, Hon. Elizabeth Sena, Municipal Works Engineer, Mr. Emmanuel Yeboah and the Town and Country Planning (Community Development) Officer, Mr. Isaac Adoah inspected the construction works and appealed to the workers to ensure the speedy execution of the project to ease the burden on the residents of the area.
He said that the Assembly will continue to support the various communities in the Municipality to spread out development to all areas as part of realizing the Effutu Dream.
The MCE called for a more stakeholder collaboration towards the initiation and execution of the development agenda of the Municipal Assembly to attract investment and open up the local economy for prosperity.
