The Municipal Chief Executive for the Effutu Municipal Assembly, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim, on Thursday September 1, 2022, took delivery of a refurbished 3-Bedroom bungalow with a Boys Quarters meant to accommodate the Municipal Coordinating Director for the Effutu Municipal Assembly.
The facility which had been abandoned for more than 10 years and left at the mercy of the rain and sunshine was re-awarded on contract to reduce the accommodation challenges faced by the municipality.
Receiving the keys to the facility, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Zuabiru Kassim, praised the contractor, Messrs Ar- Rahman’s Services Limited for the speedy execution of the project and charged the users to maintain the facility to reduce the problem of accommodating staff posted to work in the Municipality.
He was astonished at the speed and urgency with which the construction firm, Messrs Ar-Rahman’s Services Limited executed the project which begun in August and was expected to be completed within three months and urged other contractors to emulate what he called the shining example of Messrs Ar- Rahman’s Services Limited.
He pledged his commitment at seeing to the renovation, refurbishing and completion of all abandoned projects in the Municipality during his tenure as the Municipal Chief Executive.
He appealed to workers who are craving for accommodation to exercise patience and have faith in his leadership to work to resolve all accommodation challenges confronting the Municipal Assembly.
