WINNEBA COMMUNITY NURSING TRAINING SCHOOL GETS A NEW LECTURE HALL
The Effutu Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim, on Thursday March 3, 2022 joined the Paramount Chief for the Effutu traditional area, Nenyi Ghartey VII to cut sod for the construction of 2-unit Lecture Hall with Ancillary Facilities at the College of Community Health Nursing at Winneba.
The project which is being executed by the construction firm Yasbees Civil Works is being funded with the school’s own internally generated fund (IGF) and is expected to help reduce the infrastructure challenges of the school.
In an address the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Zubairu Kassim commended the School’s administration for taking the decision to invest their IGF in a worthy course to support the Assembly and Government’s efforts at providing infrastructural development to enhance quality education in the municipality, adding that, education is the number one priority of the Assembly and the Government as a whole.
He hinted that, the Assembly was making plans for the execution of similar projects in schools within the Effutu Municipality to reduce the infrastructure deficit in schools for quality education to be realized at all levels.
Hon Zubairu Kassim, advised the students of the school to show appreciation to the management and teachers of the school by studying hard to become useful citizens in future.
The Principal of the School, Mrs. Minie Okai, on her part noted that the funds for the project have been made available and set aside to prevent a situation of a stalled project, adding that the project was top on the agenda of management for the realization of quality tuition and learning in the school.
