The Effutu Municipal Assembly continues to showcase the Municipality to the rest of the world it by exhibiting development projects executed in a bid to achieving the Effutu Dream of driving in investors to grow the local economy.
Travelers who are in the Municipality to witness the 2023 Aboakyir Festival on Friday May 4, 2023 heaped praises on the leadership of Effutu for extending development to almost all sectors of the economy.
This came to light when the Effutu Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim, gave an up to speed account of his stewardship and that of the Member of Parliament, Hon. Alexander Afenyo- Markin in an exclusive interview on Kumasi based Oyerepa TV.
Hon. Zubairu Kassim whiles speaking to the Aboakyir Festival said that it represents the heart and soul of the Effutu people with the focus of binding the people together to live in peace and unity with one another.
He touched on all sectors of the economy including health, education, agriculture, roads and general infrastructure with the Member of Parliament being central in the realization of the development needs of the area.
The Effutu MCE listed the many health centres, schools, libraries, road constructions and job opportunities executed by the MP as among the development projects that continue to drive in investment. He mentioned the Dayasaw and Worabeba Health Centres, ACM Basic School, Community Centres at Kojo Beedu and New Winneba as well as 13 fully Furnished Libraries as some of the projects sponsored by the Effutu MP.
