MCE EXPRESSES SATISFACTION WITH WORK ON EFFUTU MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY BLOCK COMPLEX

Engineers from Fedems Consortium and Construction Ambassadors Limited are living no stone unturned in ensuring that work on the construction of the Effutu Municipal Assembly Complex is delivered on time to meet all the specifications prescribed for the facility.

The team on Monday, December 12, 2022 toured the construction site for another site inspection after an earlier visit on November 28, 2022. The project being executed by the Common Fund Secretariat on behalf of the Government of Ghana when completed will help reduce office accommodation challenges faced by staff of the Decentralized Departments in the Municipality.

The Consultant, Engineer Frederick Gyan- Botwe in the company of the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim and Engineer Adama Edem Kojo Joseph, the Project Manager visited the project site to inspect the project where recommendations for changes were made to give the project the touch that is required after completion.

At a site instruction meeting, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim, expressed satisfaction with the progress of work as well as the speed being injected to complete the work on schedule.

He said that his office will always avail itself for interactions and consultations on the project for a successful execution of the projects to ensure value for money.

On his part, Engineer Frederick Gyan-Botwe, charged the contractor to ensure the completion of the plastering and roofing of the building complex before the next site inspection scheduled for January 6, 2023. He made recommendations for some changes and add-ons required for a quality job to be delivered in the end. He called for the continuous support and cooperation of the management and staff of the Assembly and promised to monitor to ensure the project is completed on schedule.

With the team for the site inspection included, the Municipal Works Engineer, Mr. Emmanuel Yeboah and the Resident Engineer of the Project, Mr. Kwabena Asiedu.
