The Effufu Municipal Assembly on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 convened its Third Quarter Management Meeting at the Municipal Assembly Conference Hall at Winneba.The Meeting was attended by Heads of the various Government Departments, Units and Agencies to treat among other things items on the order paper including matters affecting the smooth operationalization the Assembly’s development agenda. The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Alhasan Abdulai Issifu opened the meeting with a call on members to place premium on collaborating well with the relevant stakeholders of the Assembly in a transparent manner in executing government’s business as well as addressing the many challenges bedeviling the area. He highlighted the need for staff to adopt effective communication and proactive approaches to tackling the task of executing the development aspirations of the people in the Municipality.Mr. Abdullai Issifu underscored the importance of working together as a team by employing an open dialogue and shared responsibility approaches towards dealing with the challenges confronting the Municipality.The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim charged the respective Heads of Departments, Units and Agencies to continuously cooperate well with one another to contribute their quota in ensuring the realization of the development goals of the Assembly.He encouraged staff to commit to offering selfless services in reviving the zonal councils in a bid to strengthening and augmenting the revenue generation expectations of the Assembly to aid its development agenda.The meeting offered the platform for the presentation and discussion of the reports from the respective Departments, Units and Agencies as well as actions forwarded from the Executive Committee and General Assembly Meetings and the 2024 District Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT).
