ST. PAUL’S METHODIST PREPARATORY & JHS LAUNCHES 25TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

St. Paul’s Methodist Preparatory and Junior High School (JHS), a private basic and Junior High institution at Winneba, in the Central Region on Friday, May 31, 2024 launched its 25th-anniversary celebration.
The colourful event which brought together alumni and other stakeholders of the school including the Effutu Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim and the Effutu Municipal Director of Education, Mrs. Diana Anderson was marked under the theme “25 Years of Transforming Lives Through Quality Education: Our Story, Our Achievement, Our Future”.
Delivering an address, Hon. Alhaji Zubairu Kassim recounted the incredible journey of St. Paul’s Methodist Preparatory and Junior High School in the past 25years. He noted that the school had moved from a humble beginning to becoming a beacon of quality education in the Effutu Municipality by transforming lives and making lasting impact on generations of students.
Hon. Zubairu Kassim described the story of the school as one of dedication, passion and unwavering commitment to providing a nurturing environment where students could thrive and excel, adding that the achievement of the school are a testament to the hard work and dedication of the educators, staff and students who passed through the school.
He was optimistic that the school would continue to transform lives, inspire greatness and shape the leaders of tomorrow for a better Ghana.
“I’m optimistic that with hard work, discipline and commitment from staff, students and other stakeholders will propel you to continue to improve on the quality of results until you hit 100 percent,” he added.  
On her part, the Effutu Municipal Director of Education, Mrs. Diana Anderson applauded the unwavering commitment of teachers of the school at moulding and transforming students for a better future.
She charged teachers to see themselves as the torchbearers of innovation and progress for student empowerment towards positive change.
Mrs. Anderson entreated teachers to employ learner- centred teaching pedagogies as well as adopt to evolving needs of the communities to transform the future generation of the country.
